NETVAULT (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform. By using NETVAULT, you consent to the practices described in this policy.
We collect the following categories of information: Account Information — name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and nationality. Payment Information — bank account details, card information (processed via secure payment processors, not stored on our servers). Usage Data — IP address, device information, browser type, pages visited, and interaction patterns. Communication Data — messages you send us via email, chat, or WhatsApp.
We use your information to: provide and maintain your NETVAULT account; process ticket purchases and draw entries; notify you of draw results and winnings; process prize payouts via bank transfer; respond to your support requests; detect and prevent fraud, money laundering, and underage participation; send you promotional communications (you can opt out at any time); comply with legal obligations under Nigerian law.
We do NOT sell your personal data. We share your information only with: Service Providers — payment processors (for transactions), KYC/identity verification providers, SMS/email delivery services. Legal Requirements — when required by Nigerian law, court order, or regulatory authority (including NLRC and EFCC). Business Transfers — in the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may be transferred to the new entity.
We retain your account data for the duration of your account plus 5 years after closure, as required by Nigerian financial regulations. Transaction records are retained for 7 years. You may request deletion of your account at any time — see Section 9.
We implement industry-standard encryption (TLS 1.3) for data in transit and AES-256 encryption for data at rest. Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel only. Our servers are hosted on secure, SSAE-18 compliant data centers. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users within 72 hours as required by the NDPR.
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Mixpanel) help us understand how users interact with the Platform — this data is anonymized and aggregated. Marketing pixels (Facebook, Google) are used for advertising — you can opt out via your browser settings. You can disable cookies via your browser settings, but some Platform features may not work properly without them.
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) 2019, you have the right to: Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you. Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data. Erasure — request deletion of your account and associated data. Portability — request your data in machine-readable format. Object — object to processing of your data for marketing purposes. To exercise any of these rights, email support@netvaultltd.com.
You may delete your account from Settings. Upon deletion: your personal data will be removed from active systems within 30 days; backup copies may persist for up to 90 days; transaction records for regulatory compliance are retained per Section 5. Note: tickets already purchased are non-refundable and account deletion does not reverse completed transactions.
By creating an account, you agree to receive transactional emails (draw results, account updates). Marketing communications (promotions, new campaigns) require your explicit opt-in. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any marketing email or in your account settings. We never share your email address with third-party marketers.
NETVAULT does not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18. If we discover that we have collected data from a minor, we will immediately delete that account and any associated data. Parents or guardians who suspect underage access should contact us at support@netvaultltd.com.
NETVAULT is operated from Nigeria. Your data may be processed on servers outside Nigeria (e.g., for cloud infrastructure). We ensure any international transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email and/or Platform notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of NETVAULT after changes constitutes acceptance.
